RWANDA’s top tennis player Jean Claude Gasigwa is in Mombassa to take part in the Kenyan leg of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) East Africa prize money circuit.

The four day tournament, organized by the Kenya Lawn Tennis Association gets underway tomorrow at Mombassa Sports Club.

After cruising to this year’s Bralirwa Tennis Open on Saturday, the 26-year-old is eager to keep the good run going.

"I’m in good shape and want to keep the good form going. I expect much tougher opposition in Kenya but I’m up for it,” he said.

Over 96 players are expected to take part in the event where the eventual winner will pocket Rwf452, 000.
