Equity Market

This week, the Rwanda OTC market did not record any transaction .The shares traded between Rwf 179 and Rwf 180. For the week KCB shares closed Rwf 2 lower than the previous week’s closing of Rwf 182.  At the end of the session, there were no offers or bids.

This week on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), KCB shares hit a low of 19.00 Kshs (Rwf142) and a high of 22.50 Kshs (Rwf168).  On Thursday, a total of 4,680,800 KCB shares were traded and closed at 19.70 Kshs (147Rfw).

The NSE All share index closed the week slightly lower at 90.39 compared to the previous week’s closing of 91.26.

The Bond Market:

The bond market was quiet this week as no transactions were reported.  At the close of business, there were Rwf 200 million government bonds bid and there were no sellers. There was no transaction on the BCR bond.
