THE national women football league continues this afternoon with champions and league leaders AS Kigali traveling to Byumba to take on Inyemera.

AS Kigali have a five point cushion over rivals APR and coach Grace Nyinawumuntu reckons that winning their next three matches against Inyemera, Aspej and Remera Rukoma will boost their chances of retaining the title.

"Our next three games against Inyemera, Aspej and Remera Rukoma are crucial to our aim of retaining the title. These teams have played well this season and their league positions justify it,” she noted before adding, "If we can win these matches, then the league will surely be ours to lose.”

Inyemera lie in 3rd place with 37 points while Aspej and Remera Rukoma are in fourth and fifth place respectively.

In other league matches, APR hosts Bugesera at Ferwafa playground, Aspej face Rambura in Rwamagana, Remera Rukoma take on Les Lioness while Muhoza play Rubavu.
