It seems as if some people worldwide are launching a media campaign to discredit Rwanda and the achievements that we have made since 1994. I can barely spend a day without reading an article or blog spreading lies to those who don’t live in this nation and skewing their perspectives.

I’m hereby asking local media houses to up their game and start telling the world what Rwanda is really about. I urge patriotic fellow citizens to take the fight to the World Wide Web and blogsphere.

We cannot assume that the truth will shine through without our input. Let the media lead and we, the citizens, shall follow.
