Love is a Feeling, Money is Real!

Oh my my! This feeling called love. It can twist you inside out, can make you look like a fool on several occasions, sometimes, it can make you feel brand new or even suicidal. One thing you ought to know is that, feelings will not put food on your table, but money will.

Somebody once said that you can’t put a price tag on love, but you can on all its accessories. How true that is. Money may not buy you love but it will get you a whole lot more, like a house to live in with the person you love, money will make sure that your debtors have no interest in your phone number and the bills will be paid on time.

See, the whole essence of love is happiness. As long as you can keep your mate happy, then you will stay mutually in love. How can your mate be happy if you stammer whenever she asks for a new dress?

Some people fall in love and want to get married instantly, whereas some gradually fall in love and want to first plan for their marriage. After infidelity, financial struggles come second as one of the major reasons why marriages break up. So why on earth would someone rush into a marriage well knowing that they are still broke and can’t sustain it?

Here comes the grand question- how much money makes a rich person? Is it about how much one makes, or about how one plans for the money they make? Who is broke? Is it the one week millionaire or the consistent hundreds owner?

It’s not about how much you make, but about how you plan for it. If you can plan so that your money sustains you and your lifestyle, then you can think about falling in love, otherwise, you will be wasting the young girl’s time.

In this era, our generation is a little unfortunate that our parents don’t go around soliciting for marriage partners for us like it was done in the African Traditional Society.

Now you have to go hunting all on your own. No girl out there is willing to fall in love with a man who walks with all his money in the wallet. Even if you’re a young handsome man with all the vibe in the world, the best you will get is a one night stand, not a life partner.

The reality is that a shortage of money and debt can put much strain on relationships. Personally, when I know when I’m worrying about money, it makes me stressful, which in turn has an effect on my behavior.

But if you really love someone and you stay with them a long time, there may be times when you don’t have money. You can’t stop loving someone if they lose their job. What matters more is how they handle money - are they responsible and hard-working?

And, of course, are they honest and dependable with you? If they are, then you can work out times when money isn’t coming in that easily.
