Kobil Petroleum Company has contributed Rwf 3.2m to cater for the Health Insurance for 200 vulnerable residents. who include genocide survivors in Gatsata Sector.

During the ceremony, the Managing Director of Kobil Rwanda, Ido Granatstein, said that their contribution will help to improve the living standards of the vulnerable people in the sector.

"The main objective of this donation is to improve the living standards of residents, particularly the vulnerable in the Sector, by paying their Mutuelle de Sante this year”.

He added that Rwf 1.2m will also be used in paying the contributions of vulnerable residents in Umurenge Sacco savings scheme.

Jean Sauveur Kalisa, the Executive Secretary of Gatsata Sector, thanked Kobil for donating the money to his Sector saying that this will help to improve the living conditions of the poor in the area.
