The Rwanda’s very own Daddy Cassanova is on the verge of joining Konvict Muzik, Akons record label. Currently in Canada, Cassanova needs to build up his support through the number of votes he gets.

To vote for Cassanova, visit ‘hitlab.com’ and click on "VOTE”. The project entitled "Akon’s Hitlab” is meant to create opportunities for upcoming artists, who lack exposure.

The project is run by HITLAB.COM and Virgin 99.9 FM. Currently, Cassanova’s Dynamic Hit Scoring (DHS) is 84 percent—a score way higher than what is required.

"The higher the score, the more potential your song has,” Cassanova said adding that; "…it places you on the most likely peak position for your song to hit the Billboard Hot 100.”

"If your songs score high enough, you can also get the chance to perform live alongside Akon and sign to one of his labels (Konlive or Konvict),” the 26 year-old explained.
Konvict Muzik is a record label founded by R&B singer Melvin Brown and R&B singer Akon.

Cassanova is one lucky Rwanda artists who has rubbed shoulders and performed alongside famous names in the international music industry like Lupe Fiasco and Dela Soul. He also performed with music icon Quincy Jones during his visit to Rwanda.
