Why did you get married?

Marriage is the bond that holds people together, and a contract between a man and a woman, stating that they will be forever respectful, loving and caring for each other. The question is why do people consciously decide to engage themselves into this lifetime commitment, despite all its challenges.

Marriage is the bond that holds people together, and a contract between a man and a woman, stating that they will be forever respectful, loving and caring for each other.

The question is why do people consciously decide to engage themselves into this lifetime commitment, despite all its challenges.

"I got married on January 1, 2000. The reason is because I had found the person I truly loved. He loved me too, and vowed to always be there for me before anyone else, and give me all the necessary comfort. He is  person, whom I will have children with and help me to raise a family,”

"Humanly speaking, I married because I was half, and the other person was also half, so we both needed to complement each other. Emotionally speaking, all human beings need comfort.

The positive effect of marriage has a special commandment, which is to complement and be reproductive. Those who don’t want to marry for example, the Catholics, have a special call. But under normal circumstances, human beings have to marry.”

 Zamda Mukecuru is the owner of Sparkling @ Zamda’s.

"I married to accomplish the assignment given by God, which is to marry, give birth and fill the world.”

Cobra is the owner of Cadillac nightclub and Mama Africa restaurant, in Kimihurura.  

"It is a beautiful thing when two people are committed to each other. Marriage is just a way to confirm it. I got married in 1982, after I had found someone I could always trust and be happy with.”
