RSSB Tigers will host a free celebration concert on Saturday, June 13 to mark their Basketball Africa League title, a victory that made them the first Rwandan team to win the continental championship.

The event will be held at KCC Roundabout, with gates opening at 4 p.m.

Rwandan artistes Kivumbi King, Juno Kizigenza, Ariel Wayz, Bulldog, Kenny Sol and Angel Mutoni are among those expected to perform as fans gather to celebrate the club’s historic run.

The Tigers claimed the BAL crown on May 31 at BK Arena, edging Petro de Luanda 90-88 in a final that ended Rwanda’s long wait for a continental title in men’s club basketball.

"The enjoyment of BAL did not stop at BK Arena,” RSSB Tigers said. "We invite all Rwandans, RSSB Tigers fans, basketball lovers and music fans to come celebrate this historic achievement with us. Enjoy performances from some of your favorite artistes as we celebrate bringing the trophy to Rwanda. Entrance is free.”

The win capped a remarkable debut BAL season for the club, which entered the tournament under its new identity following rebranding under the Rwanda Social Security Board.

For fans, the June 13 concert offers a chance to revisit the celebration in a different setting. The club has framed the event as a public thank-you to supporters and a wider invitation to the basketball community, with music added to turn the title into a citywide moment.
