POEM : GUILT AND SHAME

They all go hand in hand,Like blood and vein so guilt and shame are. The two are the diseasesI may not know their pathogen, but I guess they are viral.

They all go hand in hand,
Like blood and vein so guilt and shame are.

The two are the diseases
I may not know their pathogen,
but I guess they are viral.
They ache deeply, may be beneath the diaphragm, though
I guess

They cause tremble and fever
You shiver as though they attacked
The invisible person
I mean the soul.

If you want to know and know better,
Ask a caught murderer being sentenced to death,
If ever seen a lamb being slaughtered
So is the victim,
Guilt starts, I don’t know where,
Shame compliments and thus self judgment

They ache that far though-
But, not immune, they have a vaccine
And here it is
Avoid wrong deeds, and so the worry
For if you wrong, and then you are caught,
You suffer the fresh and the invisible you!
