Cabinet makes 11 appointments in key institutions

The Cabinet has made 11 new appointments in public institutions including Rwanda Development Board (RDB), Rwanda Governance Board (RGB), Higher Education Council (HEC) and Gender Monitoring Office (GMO).

The were officials were approved on Monday, June 8, during a Cabinet meeting chaired by President Paul Kagame at Urugwiro Village.

At RGB, where the biggest number of appointments were made, Faustin Minani was appointed Head of the Service Delivery and Good Governance Department, while Anatole Mulindwa was named Head of Research and Home Grown Solutions Department.

Anita Murungi was appointed Service Delivery Division Manager.

Taima Lydia Munganyinka was named Registration Division Manager at RGB, while Sylvère Niyikora was named Applied Governance Research Analyst.

At RDB, Gratien Ineza Izere was appointed Internal Audit Division Manager.

At HEC, Olivier Habimana was appointed Head of Department for Digitalisation and Research, a department introduced following Cabinet approval of the institution’s restructuring in a March meeting.

Gerard Nyiringango was named Division Manager for Post-Quality Enhancement in General Education at the same institution, while Ericks Shyaka was appointed Communications Analyst, and Richard Mushambaro was named Legal Analyst.

In the Gender Monitoring Office, Florien Ineza Habiyaremye Rurihose had his term as Deputy Chief Gender Monitor in charge of Gender Mainstreaming renewed.
