The 2024/25 BK Pro League season heads into a dramatic final day this weekend, with several clubs still fighting to avoid relegation.
Rutsiro FC, AS Muhanga and AS Kigali remain under pressure, with slim point margins and goal difference set to determine who survives and who drops to the second tier.
Bottom-placed Rutsiro FC host Bugesera FC at Rutsiro Stadium knowing that only victory can keep their survival hopes alive.
Even then, they must rely on favourable results elsewhere, hoping that Etincelles FC, AS Kigali and Amagaju FC all fail to win while also improving their goal difference.
Any slip-up would confirm relegation.
AS Muhanga are also deep in danger and must win their final game to stay in contention for survival.
However, three points alone may not be enough. Muhanga will still depend on Etincelles FC and Amagaju FC dropping points to avoid relegation.
AS Kigali still under threat
AS Kigali, a club more accustomed to mid-table finishes, are not yet safe either.
They host Musanze FC at Kigali Pelé Stadium knowing that a win or draw will secure survival. Defeat, however, could leave them vulnerable if results elsewhere go against them.
Should AS Kigali lose while Rutsiro and Etincelles both win, the City of Kigali side could slip into the relegation zone.
