2009 Kagame Cup winners Atraco are not desperate to replace Emmanuel Ruremesha, according to the club’s vice president Issa Ngeze.

Ruremesha, who was Sam Timbe’s assistant, left a void at the club after accepting to coach Rayon Sport early last week.

"We are not in a hurry to replace Ruremesha. Atraco’s goalkeeping coach Jean Claude Tugirimana will assist Timbe until the end of the season,” Ngeze said.

Ngeze however admitted that Ruremesha will be missed.
"He is a very experienced coach and is a great loss for the club but life goes on.”

Atraco, who shocked El-Merreikh 1-0 in the final of last year’s Cecafa Club Championship are still in the race for this year’s Primus National league title, MTN Peace Cup as well as Cecafa Club Championship.

With four games to wind up the league, the taxi-men side is third with 37 points, two adrift of joint table leaders APR and Etincelles.

Atraco had a hasty exit from this year’s Orange Confederation Cup after losing out to Sudanese side El Amal at the preliminary stage.
