Lina Rukiya Umutoni (born February 2, 1990) is a Rwandan model, an aspiring actress and a first-year student at Rwanda Tourism University College (RTUC). 

Today she graces the SundayMag cover, becoming the first model from Premier Model Agency to appear on our Cover.

The issue sees Umutoni posing in a hot casual dress on a catwalk-runaway.

Umutoni, who shot to fame last year says that she was inspired by the program; ‘America’s Next Top Model’ to venture into modelling—citing Tyra Banks as her role model.  

"A model is supposed to be well-behaved and a role model to other people,” Umutoni was quoted as saying, and she seems destined to prove it in every way as she proved at The New Times’ when she humbly greeted almost everybody around.

She intends to turn modelling into her professional career, and wants to improve Rwanda’s modelling to an international level.

"I love modelling and I wish it gets to a better stage in the country,” Umutoni said.
