Employees from more than seven nationalities reflected on the dangers of hatred, intolerance and ethnic division, while emphasising the importance of peace, reconciliation and social cohesion, particularly in an era where online platforms can amplify harmful ideologies.

Rwanda’s strategic role in DP World’s growth vision

According to Esha Mansingh, Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability for Africa at DP World; Rwanda remains a strategic market because of its role in regional trade corridors and the company’s long-term vision of creating broader socio-economic impact.

She noted that over 98 per cent of DP World Kigali’s workforce is made up of local employees, reflecting the company’s commitment to localisation, skills development and empowering Rwandan talent.
