"Whoever the Son sets free is free indeed”- this is a quote from the Bible. This quote always reminds me of my freedom. Freedom simply means the state of being free.

Without freedom you cannot enjoy and celebrate your life.
In this issue we shall look at the different ways in which children can celebrate their life.

Children can be free to laugh, talk, play, study, have friends, homes and feel safe when with other people.

However, there are some children who are not completely free. Some are bound and made to do things they do not like. These are especially children living in war zones or those who are abused. Children must know their rights and report anyone who violates them.

Keeping quiet is not the answer to your problem. If your rights are violated, report this to your leaders or the Police because it’s your right to enjoy your life.

Just like many well wishers are helping children to be free and happy, we should also remind ourselves of all the good things we can do to celebrate life.

Children can celebrate life by helping each other every day. You can only do this if you know all your rights. These rights exist to ensure the freedom and protection of every child.

This week, I will encourage everyone to discover and learn their rights so that you can enjoy your life and let no one exploit you.
