WITH just one game left in the regular second division league, the battle for Group B’s play off slots has gone down to the wire.
On Sunday, National University of Rwanda (UNR) defeated Interforce 3-1 to move within two points of leaders Muhanga, who also crafted out a 2-1 win over Espoir.
This also means that the top four sides are separated by three points as La Jeunesse saw off Stella Maris 3-0.
ISAE’s match against Union was postponed due to heavy rains.
In Group A, Kibuye and Nyanza who have already qualified for the playoffs won their respective matches against Etoile de l’Est (3-0) and Intare (2-0).
In other matches, Aspor was held to a 1-1 draw while Pepiniere defeated bottom placed Zebres 2-0.
