Editor,

I would like to commend the great job that Joseph Habineza, Rwanda’s Minister of Sports and Culture (MINISPOC) is doing when it comes to promoting Rwandan art and culture.

As an artist and art lover, I was impressed by the display of talent and skill that is uniquely Rwandan at Laico Hotel, Kigali.

Never before have I seen a wide range of contemporary artists come together. Through the establishment of ISOKO Arts Rwanda—an association of Rwandan artists, I believe that their purpose of promoting contemporary Rwandan art, is the sure-fire way of letting everyone know what Rwandan artists are capable of.

Besides MINISPOC, more companies and organizations should take a step and support these talented Rwandan artists as a move towards sustainable development.
