RWANDA football federation is actively working  on a fully fledged plan to enable them receive a grant worth $100,000 (about Rwf560m) under the second phase of the Caf Financial Assistance Program.

The federation’s Chief Executive Officer Jules Kalisa told Sunday Sport on Friday that they (Ferwafa) have many projects that are being worked upon so as to receive funding from various stake holders.

"They are several plans that are underway but the Executive Committee will decide on the concrete one which will be sent to CAF for the financial assistance program funding.

"The reason we are delaying is because we want to work on a convincing plan. Not every plan must receive the grant, so we have to take time and develop something for the long term,” Kalisa said.

Early this week, within the framework of the Contract with Africa, Caf initiated the second phase of its Financial Assistance Program aimed at benefiting its affiliated National Associations.
