Ismail Niyomurinzi

Ismail Niyomurinzi is the Restaurant Manager of Stipp Hotel. He is also studying at Rwanda Tourism University (RTUC).

Below is how he manages to run his day to day activities:
I wake up at 6:30a.m, go for a shower and have breakfast. At about 7a.m, I leave for RTUC for classes until 1p.m.

At 1p.m, I get home for lunch and by 2, I report for work at Stipp Hotels. I check the dining to find if we have some clients and monitor the set up in the restaurant.

I also check on how many customers were received and how many are expected so as to plan and appropriately arrange for them.

By 4:45p.m, I change the staff shift of my department. And this is when I also conduct some lectures on good customer care to ensure the performance I expect.

Starting 6p.m, we usually receive many clients and I keep in touch with both the clients and staff to examine and guide the operations.

By 11p.m, work is almost done, so I have supper. By 11:30 I sign off and unless there is something on appointment, I just get home immediately.

Slow music is what takes me to bed at around mid night.
