Gorilla FC head coach Alain Kirasa has said his side will seize every opportunity to eliminate Rayon Sports and qualify for what would be the club’s first-ever Peace Cup final.

The two sides face off on Tuesday at Kigali Pele Stadium with qualification hanging in the balance after a 1-1 draw in the semifinal first leg.

Kirasa said his players created enough chances to win the opening encounter but failed to convert them, and he expects a more clinical display in the return leg.

"We missed many chances to score in the first leg, but we will make sure to take the opportunities we get in the second game. We are determined to win,” Kirasa said.

In 12 meetings across all competitions, Rayon Sports have enjoyed the upper hand with seven wins, four draws, and just one defeat against Gorilla FC, and they will be looking to maintain that dominance.

The winner of the tie will face either APR FC or Etincelles FC, who play their second-leg semifinal on Wednesday.

The Peace Cup champions will earn the right to represent Rwanda in the CAF Confederation Cup.
