NYANZA – The Rwanda Society for Women and AIDS in Africa (SWAA) on Tuesday donated 300 goats to HIV/AIDS orphans in the districts of Nyanza, Gisagara and Huye.

Handing over the support at Nyanza football grounds, Gerard Sibomana of SWAA- Rwanda noted that the donation was part of their support to HIV/Aids orphans.

He urged the beneficiaries to use the donation profitably so that they could be able to meet some of their basic needs in the future.

"When you receive a donation like this, it is meant to improve your living standards and well being. This donation should help you to be self reliant,” Sibomana told the beneficiaries.

The orphans said the donation they received was a good boost to their livelihoods.
