Two years after its launch, Rwanda’s creative collective +250 has officially released its debut collaborative album, Abiri Nitanu, a 12-track project named after the country’s international dialing code that inspired the hub’s identity.
Released on May 8, the long-awaited album brings together some of Rwanda’s most prominent talents, including Bushali, B-Threy, Slum Drip, Ish Kevin, Sema Sole, Nikita Heaven, and Angell Mutoni.

+250 was launched in 2024 as a joint initiative between Pan African Music and Rwandan creative agency Cornwine, initially unveiled during the ACCES Showcase Festival in Kigali.
The platform was created as a multidisciplinary creative hub aimed at giving Rwandan artistes, producers, and innovators in music, film, fashion, and publishing a space to collaborate and connect with wider African and global audiences.

At its inception, the collective brought together 16 of Rwanda’s leading rappers, vocalists and producers, and positioned itself as a bold showcase of the country’s fast-growing urban youth culture.
Abiri Nitanu is the group’s first full-length body of work since its formation and shows a major milestone for collaborative music projects in Rwanda’s hip-hop scene.
