The restaurant is located at Des Mille Collines, a four star hotel with a fine setting and personalized services. It is found in a large exotic garden along Avenue de la Révolution of Kigali, and is open from 06.00-10.30 for breakfast and 19.00-23.00 for dinner.

Le Panorama is an executive and well established restaurant with committed waitresses and waiters who ensure that the customers meet the best services. Orders placed take little time and a supervisor is all round to make sure that customers get their money’s worth.

At the entrance, you will meet receptionists who are bi-lingual, clad in their smart casual attire with a smile to usher you in.

The crowd: The hotel has all sorts of customers with majority from the United States, and European countries and then high and middle class Rwandan citizens.

The common talk for visitors is mainly about the history that this hotel holds in as far as the Genocide is concerned. Rwandans on the other side discuss different issues depending on the company they keep with.

Dining and entertainment: You’ll enjoy different French and international cuisines at "Le Panorama” with its magnificent view over Kigali City.

The Pool Bar is the daily meeting place for local residents and international travellers, while Stan’s Bar is ideal for partying every Friday.

Drinks range from international and local staff plus cocktails. A pianist and saxophonist are all day long accompanying customers as they enjoy their meals.

Beaujolais include: Julien 2001 Cru de Beaujolais, Saint- Amour 2001, Chiroubles 2001 H.L Empereur, Moulin-a- vent Michel Picard 2004, Saint-Amour Michel Picard 2005, Morgan Michel Picard 2004.

Champagnes include: Vin Mousseux Paul Louis, Laurent Perrier Brut, Moet and Chandon, Veuve Clicquot-Ponsardin Brut, and Krug Grande Cuvee Brut.

The local beers include famous Primus, Tuskers, Pilsner, Bell, Amstel, Mitzig and their fruit juices stand out to be the best ever.

Other activities: The hotel has a gigantic and clean swimming pool, a fitness room as well as a flood-lit tennis court. Transport for residents to visit the famous mountain gorillas of Rwanda or take a tour of Kigali City is availed by the hotel.

Conference rooms that offer optimum conditions for seminars and banquets for over 250 persons are also available.

The rooms: The hotel offers 112 rooms and suites categorised into pool side and city side. Each room is equipped with a satellite TV, mini bar, direct dial phone; personal safe, electronic key card and a computer.
