Equity Market This week the Rwanda OTC market had a turnover of Rwf 50,100 from 300 KCB shares traded in one recorded transaction. The KCB shares closed Rwf 7 higher compared to the previous week’s closing of Rwf 160. At the end of the session, there were no offers or bids.

Equity Market

This week the Rwanda OTC market had a turnover of Rwf 50,100 from 300 KCB shares traded in one recorded transaction.

The KCB shares closed Rwf 7 higher compared to the previous week’s closing of Rwf 160. At the end of the session, there were no offers or bids.

This week on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), shares traded in a slightly lower range compared to the previous week. KCB shares hit a low of 21.00 Kshs (Rwf153) and a high of 22.50 Kshs (Rwf178).

On Thursday, a total of 161,700 KCB shares were traded and closed at 21.25 Kshs (168Rfw). The NSE All share index closed the week slightly higher at 83.32 compared to the previous week’s closing of 83.29.

The Bond Market:

Today the bond market was quiet as no transactions were reported.  At the close of business, there were no buyers or sellers.
