Marriage is a journey with the one you love. There is a lot to discover, a lot that is challenging and yet there is a lot to be enjoyed as long as you know that you have to complete the journey. So when does the journey end? Till death does you part!

The challenges in your marriage should be used as stepping stones to enjoying this journey. Some people look at challenges as stumbling blocks and want to run away, which is not the wisest choice to make.

Running away means you do not treasure your commitment to that relationship and in most cases, one chooses to get someone else thinking that things will be better, yet even with the second person, there are challenges on the way.

The interesting thing about the journey in marriage is that, you are walking it with the person you love. There is nothing fulfilling as walking a tough journey with the person that you have always cherished!

You encourage one another, when one is weak the other is strong, you exchange ideas, a wife may see what her husband hasn’t seen and the reverse is true. It is a journey worth walking and worth preparing to walk in this life.

Married men and women can leave a legacy of this wonderful journey in the lives of their children to grow and emulate their parents.

Stop comparing your marriage to other people because every marriage is unique. Even the most challenging moments should be handled as a couple.

These challenges draw you closer to one another. You keep connected and learn more about each other. Sometimes it is better to have tough challenges so that couples can keep together and be strengthened; instead of walking out thinking that they will get greener pastures outside their homes! That is a lie from hell because you know you have walked out and it has not worked as you thought.

Enjoy the journey in marriage and that will be a legacy to be emulated by those who know you or hear about you.
