For those who have legs and know how to flaunt them, this is your turn to shine. So lucky leggy ladies, get ready to rock!

Maybe you have been living in the cave if you haven’t noticed that mini outfits have claimed the market as the hottest trends in the fashion industry.

This week I am all about ‘Go Minis!’ and getting all modern ladies out there prepared for the dress style of the season.
The coolest way to wear a mini is with dignity. Keep the pattern simple and modern and let your legs work it. But when sporting a raised hemline, the most stylish way is to be skilfully trendy.

"I like minis but I hardly wear them because I’m a trouser lady,” Elizabeth Uwimbabazi, student at Kigali Independent University (ULK) says.

The good news is that, there are plenty of mini outputs popping up and all designed in different styles. You will find designs ranging from edgy to elegant. While none of these leave much to the imagination, some designs have slimming details and a more flattering effect.

Denims are more dominant than usual with silhouettes ranging from a tailored, suit-style jacket to rolled-ankle work jeans.

"I love seeing any woman that is not exceedingly overweight in minis and heels,” Andrew Karenzi, entrepreneur, says.

Meanwhile, Pierre Hakizimana confesses that his wife looks great in minis and he loves it.

"My wife loves to wear the sexiest outfits she can legally get away with. It is even more of a turn-on for me when we go out dancing and she is wearing them.”

Ladies, it’s time to swap out those boring sweeping dresses for something more interesting. How about a tight mini pink dress on a dinner date? It’s both flattering and sophisticated. Just avoid exaggerated makeup or accessories. For example, you can opt for a simple makeup and small handbag.

Pick your outfit carefully, and choose the one that will emphasize the beauty of your body. Technically speaking, no lady wishes to go on a date in a far-reaching dress, or at worst a lousy one. Even if she is a fashion ignorant, she will still want to keep things quiet.

"I try to always encourage people to listen to what their body wants to do and not spend too much time working against it,” Pricilla Kaneza says.

"But special-occasion outfits should be fun, not too serious.”

"The key to wearing a mini is DON’T BE SHY,” John Kalisa said with emphasis. "Make a statement. Dress to your heart’s desire no matter what. If you want to emphasize the best feature on your body, do it with no fear.”

The clothes speak to the idea of stylish dressing, which leaves nods—so fear nothing and rest assured to step out from the crowd.
