When you get in the relationship’s comfort zone, it’s easier to stop communicating with your spouse, but you should always remember it’s the small phrases that mean the most- and sadly, they’re the easiest ones to forget!

Many times you’ve heard people, especially women, asking their spouses, "Honey, do you still love me?” Or "Am I still attractive?” Below are some of the must keep phrases to keep the relationship flowing:

THANKS: This word seems too worn out to carry significant meaning but that’s not the case. We all need to feel appreciated and thanks shows you’re grateful for the small things. Look them in the eyes and say it whenever he goes that extra mile. Besides if they feel appreciated, maybe they’ll do it more often.

SORRY: it’s a tiny word but sorry has a huge impact in an argument if said genuinely. Sorry can dissolve a fight and restore trust. Only use this with sincerity, a half hearted apology is worse than none.
I LOVE YOU: the two best aspects of a relationship? Flirting and saying you love each other yet we often neglect them. Flirting keeps a relationship alive, so do it as often as you would with a new catch. I love you, reinforces how important he/she is to you.

YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL: it’s very important to keep telling your loved one how good-looking they are. Complimenting your spouse’s looks keeps the love fire burning. It makes them feel like they are loved and appreciated. Most of us compliment them when we are dating them. The moment we get them we stop, a thing that makes them feel un- attractive. They ask themselves what went wrong! Telling your woman or man how wonderful and sexy they are makes their day, they feel appreciated. Wouldn’t you?

I’M WILLING to work through this if you’re: This phrase shows maturity and a commitment to the relationship if you take responsibility and say you’re willing to compromise, and then problems are easier to solve. These words create an opportunity to work calmly through issues on an equal footing.
