In our issue of Thursday, March 12, we reported that the government would soon set up an adoption center (See: Rwanda to set up national adoption centre).

We have since learnt that this is not accurate. Instead, the government is looking for ways of cordinating with foreign foster homes to follow up on Rwandan children that have been adopted by families in those countries.

We regret any inconviniences this may have caused.
