After his spectacular wedding at the expo-grounds in Gikondo, 29 year-old football star, Jimmy Gatete    is set to leave for Ethiopia this weekend.

He said, "I decided to get married so that I can concentrate on my career with my wife in Ethiopia where I work”

Gatete plays  for the Ethiopian league, St George. He  moved last year  after  the club expressed interest in him.
Gatete is regarded by many as one of Rwanda’s greatest  footballers.

His footballing career has seen Gatete play in clubs like Inter-Star (Burundi), Rayon Sport, APR FC, Marlsburg FC (South Africa) Mukura and  Police FC before joining St. George.
