Rwandatel’s ‘Umusaruro’ promotion nears to an end

In a campaign to promote social responsibility, Rwandatel the country’s second largest operator by market share is set to announce the winner of the ‘Umusaruro’ promotion. Umusaruro which literally means harvesting was introduced to allow one  lucky Rwandatel subscriber win a prize of a house worth Rwf60 million.

In a campaign to promote social responsibility, Rwandatel the country’s second largest operator by market share is set to announce the winner of the ‘Umusaruro’ promotion.

Umusaruro which literally means harvesting was introduced to allow one  lucky Rwandatel subscriber win a prize of a house worth Rwf60 million. 

According to the operator’s Corporate Communication Manager, Cleophas Kabasiita, the promotion was introduced as away of giving back to the clients.

"As away of rewarding our royal clients, we decided to choose a house which will be memorable to them,” she explained.

The promotion which was launched in August last year will end on the March 19 and the final draw is set for March 24.
Kabasiita revealed that the promotion attracted a reasonable number of participants however; she declined to disclose the exact number that participated saying the figures will be released on the day of the final draw.

She also explained that also weekly prizes are being won ever since the promotion was launched including; Modems, Easy calls and  Phones. Kabasiita explained that the promotion allows Rwandatel subscribers to make unlimited calls everyday from 6am to 6pm from Rwadatel to Rwandatel network for only Rwf500.
