Kenyan center Bush Wamukota has completed a move from Patriots Basketball Club to rivals APR.

The 29-year-old signed a one-year deal with the army side.

He has previously played for teams including Wichita State Shockers in the United States of America, Águilas Doradas Rionegro in Mexico, Moroccan club MAS Fes, as well as Tunisia outfits US Monastir and later JS Kairouan.

He represented the Kenyan national team on a number of occasions.

During his time with the Patriots, he was part of the team that won the local league and qualified for the inaugural edition of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) in 2021.

APR is making effort to reinforce its ranks ahead of the upcoming season, as it dares to win the league and qualify for the BAL.

The team has so far signed big players like star point guard Jean-Jacques Wilson Nshobozwabyosenumukiza, power-forward Axel Mpoyo, point guard Ntore Habimana and, recently, it added Dan Manzi Kimasa, a US-based player.
