Star guard Craig Randall delivered a historic performance, scoring 54 points to lead RSSB Tigers to a 104–92 victory over Tanzania’s Dar City on Saturday.

It was Tigers’ fourth win in a row in the Kalahari Conference, currently underway in Pretoria, South Africa.

Randall shot 18-for-36 from the field, including a remarkable 11-for-24 from beyond the arc, setting a new Basketball Africa League single-game scoring record with 54 points. He also established a new league record for most three-pointers in a game.

The Tigers, who had already secured a playoff berth a day earlier, signaled their intent early. Randall opened the scoring with a three-pointer, followed by another from Axel Mpoyo to give the team a quick 6–2 lead.

The American guard accounted for more than half of his team’s total points. He received support from Antino Jackson and Makong Mathiang, who each contributed 15 points.

Randall’s 11 three-pointers surpassed the previous BAL record of 10, which was set by his teammate Mpoyo during the 2025 playoffs while playing for APR.

This game marked the third time in four outings that the Tigers have scored over 100 points, underlining their offensive dominance. At one stage, they led by as many as 17 points.

Dar City entered the contest needing a win to boost their playoff hopes but struggled against the Tigers’ firepower. Their challenge was further complicated by the absence of key players David Michineau and Michael Foster.

Junior Madut and Daniel Utomi led Dar City’s scoring with 21 points each, while Nisre Zouzoua added 19 and Sisco Ngaiza chipped in 15.

Dar City finished the Kalahari Conference with a 2–3 record. Meanwhile, the Tigers will face Nairobi City Thunder on Sunday in their final conference game.
