I was very impressed by the $2.5m deal that was signed between The Ministry of Education and the Korean Government through the Korea International Cooperation Agency, KOICA.

The fact that the money will be used for vocational training provides hope that the targets set in Vision 2020 and EDPRS can be achieved ahead of time. For economic growth to be stimulated, innovation systems need to be in place, and this is possible through vocational training.

Rwandans will gain various skills and in the long run, a developed human resource base will see Rwanda achieve sustainable development.
