Brussels is set to host gospel artiste Alexis Dusabe at Rue Birmingham 54 in what will mark his first-ever concert in Belgium.

The veteran musician will celebrate 25 years in gospel music with the diaspora community, three months after headlining a similar concert in Kigali.

"I have a concert in Brussels as part of celebrating 25 years that I have spent in music,” said Dusabe, who named the show after Umuyoboro, the iconic song he released 25 years ago.

The concert had initially faced uncertainty after the original promoter, Team Productions, reportedly withdrew from organising the event. This followed the announcement of a separate concert by gospel artistes Ben and Chance, scheduled to take place at BK Arena on April 5.

The promoter had proposed postponing Dusabe’s concert to avoid a clash, but the singer opted to proceed independently with his Belgium-based team.

Since launching his career in 2000, Dusabe has remained a consistent and influential figure in gospel music, releasing numerous songs that have cemented his place among the leading artistes of his generation.

The Brussels concert will mark his first performance outside Rwanda—a significant milestone in his 25-year journey. Tracy Agasaro and Rene Patrick are also set to perform.

Meanwhile, Ben and Chance have been intensifying rehearsals ahead of their Easter Jubilee concert at BK Arena. Other performers expected at the event include Papy Clever, Dorcas, and rising gospel duo Alicia and Germaine.

After the Easter concert, they plan to return to Europe (Belgium, Germany, UK) and later perform in North America.
