Fitnesspoint turned its Remera branch into a vibrant celebration of women, wellness, and community as more than 100 participants gathered for a special "Ride in Pink” spinning session on Saturday, March 28.
Dressed in shades of pink, the women powered through an energetic morning of fitness, networking, and fun—marking Women’s Month in style ahead of its close.

Inspired by pink as a symbol of femininity and strength, the session blended physical activity with social connection, creating a lively space where participants celebrated friendship, self-care, and empowerment.
Led by certified spinning instructor Michelle Nkurunziza, the event offered more than just a workout. It also served as a platform for women to connect, recharge, and reflect on the spirit of International Women&039;s Day.
"I normally coach spinning classes here at Fitnesspoint, but celebrating women through this session was a way to encourage even more women to embrace sports through spinning,” said Nkurunziza.
The initiative was spearheaded by Serah Kassim, who described "Ride in Pink” as a celebration of women’s potential and a step toward building a stronger community.

"Ride in Pink is not just about cycling; it is about the power of community—knowing that you are not the only one in the room and that others are there to help you enjoy the journey,” she said.
"At Fitnesspoint, our goal is to build an intentional community, not only for women, and we look forward to making this an ongoing tradition.”
For first-time participant Audrey Sheja, the experience was both empowering and eye-opening.
"I was not used to spinning classes, but within this short time I discovered how capable I am,” she said. "It felt like the perfect way to celebrate women.”
She added that beyond the celebration, the session created a supportive environment where women could connect over shared health journeys.
"Meeting women with similar challenges and seeing them choose a healthier lifestyle inspired me. I would encourage more women to join.”
