Full-time: Aruba 4–1 Liechtenstein
Ten-man Aruba produced a dominant performance to secure the title of the FIFA Series 2026 following a 4–1 victory over Liechtenstein in Group B final on Sunday, at Kigali Pele Stadium.
Aruba set the tone early, with Romano Jaybrien opening the scoring in the 18th minute. Robertha Shurgello doubled the lead just six minutes later, putting Liechtenstein under immediate pressure.
Liechtenstein responded after the break, pulling one back in the 52nd minute through Emanuel Zuend, assisted by Fabio Notaro Luque.
However, Aruba quickly reasserted control. Despite being reduced to 10 men following Rovien Ostiana’s second yellow card in the 62nd minute, they extended their lead in the 68th minute when Rainy Breinburg struck a stunning long-range effort to restore the two-goal cushion.
The victory was sealed in stoppage time after a misdirected clearance from Jens Hofer resulted in Aruba’s fourth goal, capping a dominant display.
Aruba had already shown their intent earlier in the tournament with a win over Macau in their opening match on Thursday.
In the third-place playoff, Tanzania secured a convincing 6–0 victory over Macau.
With Group B concluded, attention now turns to Group A fixtures on Monday at Amahoro Stadium, where Kenya will face Grenada in the third-place match, before Rwanda take on Estonia in the final.
