Full-time: Tanzania 6-0 Macau

Tanzania produced a commanding performance to secure third place in Group B of the FIFA Series 2026 with a resounding 6-0 victory over Macau at Kigali Pele Stadium on Sunday.

It was a dominant display for Miguel Gamondai’s Taifa Stars who took control of the game early and never looked in danger.

Paul Peter opened the scoring in the 15th minute before Bakari Mwamnyeto doubled the lead 10 minutes later. Kelvin Nashon added a third on the stroke of halftime to give Tanzania a comfortable 3-0 advantage at the break.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with Tanzania maintaining their attacking intensity. Peter completed his brace in the 56th minute to make it 4-0, before Novatus Miroshi struck in the 74th minute. Tarryn Allarakhia rounded off the scoring with a late goal in the 87th minute.

Tanzania were in complete control throughout the match and could have added more goals, while Macau struggled to create any meaningful chances.

The win marks a strong response from Tanzania who lost 4-3 on penalties to Liechtenstein in the semifinal.
