RWANDA’S point guard Aboubacar Barame has reunited with his former club APR. The former Marines captain has been training with the national champions for the past two weeks and is expected to make his first appearance in an APR shirt in over a year during this weekend’s Heroes tournament at Amahoro Indoor stadium.

Barame, who became a free agent after Marine’s collapse late last year, is expected to complete his move by Friday. "He is training with us but is yet to sign although I can tell you that talks and on going and everything looks positive,” APR’s head coach Cliff Owuor noted.

APR won last year’s Heroes tournament and look set to retain the title. "We have a strong side which is also rich in depth so we hope that will work in our favour,” the former Kenyan international added.

The tournament fixtures will be made this Friday.
