Amavubi head coach Stephen Constantine has named his final squad for the 2026 FIFA Series ahead of Rwanda’s clash against Grenada, scheduled for 21:00 at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
The dropped players include goalkeeper Patient Niyongira of Police FC and injured striker Innocent Nshuti. Others left out are Jean Bosco Ruboneka (APR), David Niyo, and Karl Matteo.
This marks the first game for Constantine since returning to the Amavubi touchline after eleven years.
Rwanda will open their FIFA Series campaign against Grenada at Amahoro Stadium on March 27. The two sides are in Group A alongside Kenya’s Harambee Stars and the Estonia national team.
The 63-year-old English tactician is in charge of Amavubi for the second time, having replaced Adel Amrouche, who was dismissed in early January.
The 2026 FIFA Series is the second edition of the invitational tournament organised by FIFA, featuring friendly matches between national teams from different continental confederations.
