Junior Wasps draw Congo in Youth Championship

RWANDA will play Congo Brazzaville in the first qualifying round of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) U-20 Youth Championship set for 2011 in Libya. Amavubi’s newly appointed head coach Sellas Tetteh, who also guided Ghana to the 2009 Fifa U-20 World Cup title, will take charge of the team.

RWANDA will play Congo Brazzaville in the first qualifying round of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) U-20 Youth Championship set for 2011 in Libya.

Amavubi’s newly appointed head coach Sellas Tetteh, who also guided Ghana to the 2009 Fifa U-20 World Cup title, will take charge of the team.

Tetteh, who signed a two-year contract on Friday, will soon name a provisional team for the qualifiers.

Congo Brazzaville will host the first leg on the weekend of July 23-25 before traveling to Kigali for the return leg between August 7-8.
