AFTER a convincing display in the tour of Cameroon, Team Rwanda coach Jonathan Boyer is set to stick with the same team for the upcoming tour of Morocco.

Rwanda is one of 15 teams raring to go in the seven-stage race which starts March 26.

In Cameroon, Team Rwanda secured the final podium slot (3rd) behind Slovakia and eventual winners Cameroon.
Four-time tour of Rwanda champion Abraham Ruhumuriza won two stages and the mountain climbing category to emerge as the country’s outstanding rider.

Boyer now believes the team can push for a better finish in Morocco.

"We intend to stick with the same team because we believe we can push the top sides in Morocco.”

The team that featured in Cameroon includes Ruhumuriza, Nathan Byukusenge, Nyandwi Uwase, Gasore Hategeka, Nicodem Habiyambere and Emmanuel Rudahunga.

Tour of Morocco is one of the most prestigious races on the continent and is classified as 2:1 by UCI (International Cycling Union).
