LA Jeunesse coach Yves Rwasamanzi has urged his team to put together a good run of wins to maintain their grip at the summit of Group B in the second division.

The Nyamirambo-based side, which was relegated from the top flight last season, returned to the top of the group after Sunday’s 2-1 win over ISAE.

It was a timely response from the team, who had lost two of their last five matches.

Rwasamanzi now believes his team can win their remaining matches (five) to make the top flight play-offs.  "We are in a good position of qualifying for the playoffs and we don’t want to jeopardize that,” he said.

In other Group B results, Espoir thumped Union 3-0; Stella Maris moved into 5th place after their 1-1 draw with National University of Rwanda (UNR), while Interforce was held to a 2-2 draw by Muhanga.

Meanwhile, Nyanza maintained their unbeaten run in Group A after a 3-0 thrashing of Aspor, Kibuye defeated Pepiniere 2-1, while Sorwathe crushed Intare 4-1.
