The first leg in Kigali ended 2-2.

RWANDA’S APR stormed the second round of the Orange Champions league after beating Angola’s Recreativo Desportivo do Libolo 1-0 yesterday in the town of Calulo.

Ivorian born midfielder Selly Rogba Didier ensured APR’s qualification to the next round after he struck a 78th minute winner to give the military side a 3-2 aggregate. The first leg in Kigali ended 2-2.

APR will now face reigning champions TP Mazembe of the DR Congo in the second round whose first leg is scheduled for March 19-21 and the return matches on the weekend of April 2-4.
