The congress brought together members from across the country, including representatives from all four provinces and the City of Kigali, to review progress and set priorities for the future.
Delegates elected Pudentienne Uzamukunda as President of the Women’s League at the national level. Emilienne Kabega was elected as the Vice President.
Others include Virginie Mukandayisenga as Secretary General, Christine Hitimana Niyotwambaza as Commissioner for Good Governance, Ninette Umurerwa as Commissioner for Justice, Maryse Mbonyumutwa Kangabo as Commissioner for Economy, and Marie Alice Kayumba as Commissioner for Social Welfare.
Speaking on behalf of the newly elected leadership, Uzamukunda thanked members for the trust placed in them and pledged commitment to deliver on the resolutions adopted during the congress.
"I call upon my fellow women members here, as well as those who are not present, to fulfil the commitments we have made,” she said.
The Secretary General of RPF-Inkotanyi, Amb Christophe Bazivamo, congratulated the new leadership and expressed confidence in their ability to drive progress.
"We also assure them of our full support in implementing what they have committed to and working together,” he said, urging members to actively participate in party programmes and highlighting the importance of collective effort.
"The resolutions adopted during this meeting will certainly be achieved if we work together, men and women, leaving no one behind—and ensure they are implemented as intended,” Bazivamo added.
