Rayon Sports have parted ways with head coach Bruno Ferry by mutual agreement after just three months in charge.

The club confirmed his departure in a statement released on its official social media platforms on Friday, March 20.

"By mutual agreement, Rayon Sports and head coach Bruno Ferry have parted ways. We thank him for his service and wish him success in his future endeavors,” the statement read.

Ferry’s exit comes just a day after he guided the club into the semifinals of the Peace Cup, following a penalty shootout victory over Police FC on Thursday.

Despite that cup success, the team struggled to find consistency in the league during his tenure. Rayon Sports managed only five wins in 13 matches, a run of form that fell short of expectations from the club’s management, led by acting president Abdallah Murenzi.

He leaves the team in fifth place on the league table with 39 points, trailing leaders APR FC by 10 points.

Ferry has previously worked across several clubs in African football, including roles with Accra Lions in Ghana as a scout, Eding Sport in Cameroon, AS Dakar Sacré-Cœur in Senegal, Azam FC in Tanzania, and AS Vita Club in DR Congo, where he served both as assistant coach and head coach.
