OUT of the 250 Fifa World Cup tickets that were allocated to Rwanda, only five have been sold, Times Sport has learnt.

Ferwafa has now called upon those willing to be part of the world’s greatest competition to buy the tickets in time.

Rwanda was allocated12 tickets for the opening match, 111 for group stages, 32 tickets for the round of 16, 52 tickets for the quarter-finals, 20 tickets for the semi-finals, 13 tickets for the third-place play-off and 10 tickets for the final.

Ticket prices at the World Cup will vary. 
For group matches, ticket prices are pegged at $160, $120 and $80 for first, second and third class respectively. For the round of 16, tickets go for $200 (first), $150 (second) and $100 (third).

At the quarter-finals, ticket prices stand at $300, $200 and $150; semi-final tickets stand at $600, $400 and $250 while 3rd place-play-off tickets go for $300, $200 and $150 respectively.

As expected, ticket prices for the final are high; $900, $600 and $400.

Meanwhile, the opening game will have a special charge; $450 (first class), $300 (second class) and $200 (third class).
