Friday
7 p.m: The Proposal (French)
Sometimes chemistry can trump originality, as in the case of The Proposal. This romantic comedy from Peter Chiarelli and directed by Anne Fletcher is rife with "rom com clichés” down to its ‘wrapped up in a tidy bow’ Hollywood ending any novice to the genre could have seen coming a mile away.

9 p.m: 2012 (English)
2012 is an apocalyptic sci-fi thriller following an academic researcher who opens a portal into a parallel universe, making contact with his double in an effort to prevent the catastrophic prophecies of the ancient Mayan calendar from coming to pass. According to the Mayan calendar, the world will come to an end on December 21, 2012.

SATURDAY
7p.m:  The Baker (French)
A hit man flees his overlords when he can’t go through with a whack. He then hides out in a remote Welsh village and works as a baker, falling in love with a local vet--but cannot escape his past.

9 p.m: Jarhead
(English)
A young man gets a crash course in the madness of war in this fact-based drama from director Sam_Mendes. Anthony "Swoff” Swofford (Jake_Gyllenhaal) decides to join the Marines and signs on just in time to be sent to Iraq to fight in the Gulf War in 1991.

SUNDAY
7p.m: Ultimate Combat (French)
A cop on the beat in "the Grid,” a dangerous clone-manufacturing zone, runs up against the ultimate enemy when the factory unleashes an accidental creation.

9 p.m: Jack and Jill vs The World (English)
Jack and Jill vs The World is a drama movie about a life of a NYC advertising executive named Jack. There is a woman named Jill who is new to the city, with nothing to stand on but her fiery personality and romantic ideals. Opposites attract, and together they author their own manifesto of "rules to live by.” But Jill betrays Jack by violating rule one - Be Honest.

Ends
