Diplomate, a self-styled rapper has finally landed on a sponsor.

The singer recently signed a two-year contract with Receive the Light, a company that deals in solar power.

Diplomate, (real name Fassassi Nuur) has so far released four songs; the popular ones being, "Umucakara w’ibihe, and "Diplomacy atari Democracy.”

He is currently working on other six songs to make a complete 10 song album that is to be launched in July.

"I’m really happy to get new sponsors; this will facilitate me to take my career to a better level.”

Diplomate says he is an ardent fan of USA’s famous rapper, Snoop Doggy Dogg, whom he calls his mentor.
