LAUDED TEAM: Grace Nyinawumuntu.

AS Kigali Coach Grace Nyinawumuntu has heaped lavish praise on her team for maintaining a 100% start in the league and scoring a sensational 27 goals in five matches.

The Kigali City council side has been ruthless this season scoring goals left, right and center and their tremendous appetite to retain the league title this year is down to metilicious preparations and the winning mentality, according to Nyinawumuntu.

"We had good pre-season training where we played a number of build up matches. The players are also hungry for more success after lifting last year’s title.”

AS Kigali have the best striking partnership in the league, with strikers Mefya Hakizimana and Saida Ntagisanimana raking in 17 goals between them.

The defending champions lead the league log with 15 points, two clear off APR.

Aspej and Remera Rukoma are 3rd and 4th with 10 points respectively.

Rayon Sport, who are still hunting for their first league points, are rooted at the bottom with 0 points.
